Another one bites the dust! Sigh.......

Our Lions have waived Bill "Brittle" Bentley. That ends his injury plagued career in Detroit after three seasons with 18 games played of a possible 48. Not exactly a shining beacon for another team to claim him off waivers but who knows, perhaps someone else will give him a shot. I hope so because I always liked him as a player when he wasn't hurt. He wasn't afraid to get into the mix and make a tackle in the run game and he seemed like a hard worker.

Good luck Mr. Bentley.

This move frees up a spot on the Lions 90 man roster and at present, there is no news who if anyone has been signed to fill it.

BTW, three strikes and you are out Mayillen. Three CBs taken in that draft, three failures.

    1. Yes. Absolutely yes. Is it fair? No. Damn near every job in the world has parts of it that aren't fair. That is why people are paid to do them.

Drafting a player that fails for any reason is a failed draft pick. Everyone has excuses.
