2nd paragraph he starts listing off Charles Rogers, Joey & other draft busts. WTF does that have to do with anything man? You know me, I'm no fool, I'm not gonna blame the media for our faults...we were 7-9 because of our performance but this is EXACTLY what the HC is talking about when he gets in the media room & bitches. Quinn isn't up against Mike Williams, Andre Ware & all that other shit. He's got to get a mediocre team to consistently good & then shoot for the stars from there & Mitch Albom wants to feed his audience garbage that deflects the current state of the team in favor of a message....HIS message, that this team is shit, always has been & always will be. What's it's purpose? It's bush league.
On a brighter note. I'd like you to know you are sorely missed man. I don't think we can make it a month around there without the "I miss Josh" comment lol. I don't know what happened, but I want you to know I'm pissed with you lol. Only because I miss you
Honestly, I do think Quinn is up against all that past dysfunction. Many of the people that were around when those mistakes were made are still working for the lions in lower tiered positions, scouting and such. Quinn is going to have to root out the weak links in our scouting program and make dramatic improvements.
So, in my opinion, that past is very relevant to today.
I miss you and most of the guys at POD too. Maybe someday when the guys running the site stop being control freaks, I will be able to come back. Until then, I am not losing any sleep over it. I am here, having fun and talking Lions and I am not going anywhere. I hope you keep coming back to chat.
