Undrafted Stud or Dud? Meet Zach Zenner.

At 5'11" and 223lbs this kid ran for 3 consecutive 2000 yard seasons at South Dakota State. Yes it was mostly against lesser competition but against that competition, he dominated and against the four FBS schools he faced he was still highly productive with almost 500 yards. He ran a 4.6 40 with a 41 inch vertical. As a one cut and run, down hill runner he might just find a place on the team. George Winn be aware.

    From what I have seen.... Zenner is a going to be a STUD. Think Danny Woodhead.. but faster and bigger. (SCHWING)

    ZZ should make the team and replace Winn... which will be an improvement as ZZ has the speed and quickness as well as the toughness that Winn possessed. Let's hope he can jump on ST right away to secure the roster spot.

    I love bringing in the bigger RBs. If the Lions are going with a couple of road graters at the OG spots it only make sense to bulk up on the in between tackles power running backs

    @CLF Zack reminds me of a smaller but faster and agile Payton Hillis. Same running styles and vision but Zack can hit the hole a step faster.

    All Stud votes. I originally voted stud because I had doubts about anyone else voting that way for him and as is usual for me, I vote for the underdog. But seriously, no one has anything? Something that suggests there is a reason this kid won't work in the NFL?

    Sometimes I love Lions fans. We all back up the least likely players and we love them while we are at it.

      I voted STUD mainly because of his size. 5"11 223 lbs I like those all-purpose bigger backs

      Billy, Mayillen is throwing shit at the fan. Nothing more.

      Cruize, I like the variety of RBs they are bringing into the fold this season but it seems like a whole lot of hope. If one of them works out, the Lions FO ends up being genius'.
