Lions move Proctor from DT to OT?

Say what? The Lions announced today they have moved Xavier Proctor from DT to OT!!!

Why? We have depth at OT and nothing but questions at DT.

We also have Michael Williams who we moved from TE to OT a couple seasons ago.

  1. DT is WAYYYYY deeper than OT. Walker, Reid, Ngata, Wright, Wooten, PHilin..... and add in Jones as a 3rd down option.

OT is pretty thin..... Reiff and Waddle starting.... Lucas (2nd UDFA) as primary backup.... leaving rookie Robinson and Mike Williams. Can Proctor beat one of those guys out? I'd say he has a better chance than at DT.

Good for him, good for the team.... let's see if it works out.

Side note: Williams has to be getting close to being in eligible for practice squad?... maybe Proctor was switched to give him a push or replace?

    1. on paper DT is deep but there they are questions and all of those guys. And I would scratch Wooton off that list he has looked awful when he has played inside.

  2. Maybe this move is because of Reid's improvement. Someone on POD said that the OL is easier to play than the DL...I completely disagree!

Here's an interesting story.... Not only are sources stating that Mosley DID NOT tamper with the hotel smoke detector, he hasn't failed a drug test in 10yrs. I, for one, would like to know who his room mate was. Secondly, it takes a real man/brother to take the fall for another person.
